New Observer Members : ABGF and MS Amlin
The Berne Union has expanded with two new Observer Members joining: ABGF of Brazil and MS Amlin, a subsidiary of the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group
Both organizations have been formally voted in as Observer Members following a presentation of their business at the Berne Union Annual General Meeting in October.
ABGF will participate in the ECA (Export Credit Agency) and MLT(Medium and Long Term) Committees, while MS Amlin will join the MLT Committee.
As the global industry association, the Berne Union endeavours to represent all organisations active in the field of export credit and investment insurance. The addition of ABGF and MS Amlin strengthens the Berne Union's commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive community within the global export credit and political risk insurance sectors.
Their involvement will enhance the Union's mission to promote best practices, provide industry insights, and support the sustainable development of export and investment finance worldwide. With these new members, the Berne Union continues to build valuable public-private partnerships that drive growth, resilience, and innovation in the industry.
