Berne Union President Maëlia Dufour to present welcome address to a cross-industry gathering of public and private institutions and to discuss the future of global trade in a world of change at the IfTI Global Symposium 2024

We are delighted to announce that the Berne Union is supporting 2024 IfTI Global Symposium, hosted by the Institute for Trade and Innovation (IfTI) on September 4th and 5th, 2024, at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.

In a world undergoing ever evolving transitions, where geopolitical landscapes, innovations, digitalisation, and energy transitions are increasingly complex, the symposium aims to navigate the future direction of global trade.

As the industry faces major challenges and uncertainties, opportunities to share knowledge and expertise, exchange ideas and build bridges to strengthen cooperation become all the more valuable among cross-industry experts.

The speakers includes experts from ECAs including EDC, Euler Hermes, KUKE, NEXI, SERV, UKEF, and US Exim, as well as representatives from the OECD, the WTO and the Berne Union.

With participants ranging from policymakers to financiers, exporters, and researchers, the symposium will serves as a nexus for cross-industry dialogue and collaboration through case studies, and open discussions navigating ways to move forward in a world of change.
