Berne Union and ICISA Regulatory webinar
The purpose of the meeting
The insurance market has noticed a building wave of regulations directly and indirectly affecting export credit and investment insurance providers, too. As it affects us all, and does it in the same way, it would be great to have a common understanding of the possible effects and to level the market awareness about the current regulatory processes.
The meeting’s objective is to:
- INFORM: Have an open discussion about the major regulatory changes that may affect our industry, private insurers, multilaterals and ECAs alike
- DISCUSS: Brainstorm about possible ways to tackle the issues, if any
- PREPARE: By making the industry aware of the foreseen changes and consequences, Members may have more efficient dialogue with their regulatory authorities both on a national and international level.
The meeting will not result in common position or communication, solely aims to provide a forum for exchange of views and experience.
The outline of the meeting
Both, members of ICISA and the Berne Union will discuss broad range of topics from how Governments, ECAs and private insurers have responded to COVID-19 crisis, what will be potential implications of Brexit and what approaches BU and ICISA members already have taken, with perspective on Solvency II and banking prudential rules and environmental, social and corporate governance.
All three days are intended as inclusive, interactive Member-to-Member discussions and attendees will be encouraged to engage and share their views.
Invited participants
BU and ICISA Members are kindly invited to delegate to the meeting at least one regulatory specialist and/or one product specialist/underwriter/portfolio manager.
