The 2019 Specialist Meeting on Reinsurance will take place on 23 - 24 May, in Pula, Croatia, hosted by HBOR.
There will be an evening welcome reception on 22 May and a Boat Cruise & Dinner on the 24th afternoon/evening
Airport Options
In order to facilitate your flight booking, HBOR has prepared a list of flights to/from Pula airport and two alternative airports: Zagreb and Ljubljana on May 21, 22, 24 and 25. Please observe following advices with regards to alternative airports and transfer to the hotel:
Arrival
If you plan to arrive on Tuesday May 21, we advise to arrive via Pula Airport and use taxi or Uber for transfer to the hotel (15 minutes ride to the hotel).
If you plan to arrive on Wednesday May 22, we would advise you to also consider arriving via Ljubljana Airport (2 hours 15 min ride to the hotel) or Zagreb Airport (3 hours ride to the hotel). In this case, HBOR will organize your transfer from Zagreb or Ljubljana Airport to the hotel therefore please inform Nicole at the Secretariat at least 2 weeks in advance with your flight details: ncherry@berneunion.org
Departure
If you leave on Friday, May 24 or Sunday, May 26, there are a number of flights you can take from Pula Airport.
If you leave on Saturday, May 25, we advise you to - next to Pula Airport - also consider taking a flight from Zagreb or Ljubljana. In this case, HBOR will organize your transfer from the hotel to Zagreb or Ljubljana Airport, therefore please inform Nicole at the Secretariat at least 2 weeks in advance with your flight details.
Important Notice: If you plan to use Ljubljana Airport, you will need to have a valid Schengen visa
