Call for Case Studies on Climate Innovation
We want to showcase examples of new and adapted products, structures or transactions which support climate in an innovative way and want your input!
Selected examples will be featured in an open webinar series starting this month (June 2022)
- This could be a new product which incentivises climate, or helps to encourage transition away from carbon-intensive industries
- Or perhaps an existing product adapted and applied to boost your organisation's climate strategy
- We are also interested to hear about innovative financing structures, programmes or individual transactions which target climate
- Especially if these involve blending or risk-sharing between public / private; trade / development; domestic / cross-border; traditional / alternative sources of finance designed to catalyse investment in climate projects
We are curating a showcase, based around a series of webinars to highlight best practice examples in these areas and are looking for examples from right across international finance, primarily involving ECAs, DFIs, MDBs, commercial banks and private risk insurance (but also welcome examples from institutional investors, innovation funds, climate funds and national, regional or sectoral economic development agencies)
Get in touch if you would like to volunteer an example from your organisation, or if you would like to highlight an example from another organisation which you think we should feature in more detail.
The Berne Union Secretariat will manage all logistics for webinar production - you just have to bring the innovation!
Contact Paul Heaney with a couple of lines on the innovation and how it supports climate and / or any relevant supporting links.
