The LMA’s Export Finance Buyer Credit Facility: Overview and Upcoming Changes

In 2018, the Loan Market Association (LMA) published a recommended form of buyer credit facility. The LMA is currently in the process of updating the recommended form, as well as producing new guidance notes for the export finance market. The LMA is working with its Export Finance Working Party on these updates and guidance. The Working Party consists of ECAs, commercial banks and law firms active in the market, and the Berne Union as an observer.
This webinar will provide an overview of the development of the recommended form and working party; discuss the benefits of the documentation and its use in practice since 2018; and highlight upcoming changes to the documentation, additional guidance and working party structure.
